US COAST GUARD LICENSED CAPTAIN 200 Ton Master

Captain Bob Pedro is licensed by the U.S. Coast Guard
as a 200 Ton Master. He is also available to deliver motor
vessels and yachts anywhere along the Pacific Coast.
He and his wife Shirley have owned the 76' Miss Linda
since 1992 and operated on the West Coast of California,
Oregon and Washington. Fishing operations on the Pacific
Coast and out as far as 400 miles when fishing for
Albacore Tuna.
Bob is proud to have served 5 years in the U.S. Coast
Guard. He and Miss Linda are volunteer members of the
U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, assisting with search &
rescue, as well as vessel and helicopter training exercises.
Bob is currently a Red Cross First Aid and CPR
Instructor and is part of a random drug testing program
as required to hold a Masters License.
Bob was also Captain of the Oregon State University,
Marine Mammal Institutes 84' whale research vessel
Pacific Storm. In the past years he has taken it North
into the Northern Most Bering Sea, South into the Sea of
Cortes, Mexico and many locations in between such as
the Santa Barbara Channel Islands and the Farallon
Islands out of San Francisco Bay.

US COAST GUARD LICENSED CAPTAIN 100 Ton Master

Captain Tom Curran is licensed by the U.S. Coast
Guard as a 100 Ton Master.
Tom served 4 years in the U.S. Army and is currently a
member of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, assisting
with search-&-rescue, as well as vessel and helicopter
training exercises. He is an Instructor for the USCG
Auxiliary and for the Oregon State Marine Board. In
addition he is a USCG Commercial Fishing Vessel
Examiner. Tom also holds current Red Cross First Aid
and CPR cards and is part of a random drug testing
program as required to hold a Masters License.
Tom started operating tugs with his grandfather when
he had to stand on a box to see over the wheel. When
old enough he worked for his grandfather operating tugs
to pull log rafts down river to the mills for loading and
processing. Later Tom crewed on various fishing
trawlers and eventually became Captain on a fishing
trawler.
Tom owned and operated a metal fabrication shop and
built or repaired a variety of heavy duty equipment and
fishing gear for the trawl industry. He is also a
competent diesel mechanic.

Captain Gary Taylor is license by the U.S. Coast
Guard as a 100 Ton Master.
Gary served 8 1/2 years in the U.S. Navy with a tour of
duty in Vietnam. He is currently a member of the U.S.
Coast Guard Auxiliary, assisting with search-&-rescue,
as well as vessel and helicopter training exercises. He is
a Coxswain, is a recreational vessel safety examiner and
has served as Flotilla Commander. Gary also holds
current Red Cross First Aid and CPR cards and is part
of a random drug testing program as required to hold
a Masters License.
Gary got his first boat when he was 8 years old and has
been on the water ever since including Sea Scouts,
Power Squadron and Navy Reserves.
